Welcome to Think Retro! This is a site made for fun, inspired by a love for retro gaming and the retro gaming community as a whole. I'm positive I'll also discuss new games, but hopefully I can find a way to mix in the retro gaming side of things (e.g. what old games may have inspired the design; does this feel like a spiritual successor to an old game; etc.). Ultimately I'm just here to write down some thoughts, and maybe some others will find them enchanting enough to read.
It's probably pretty important to define what I personally consider to be a "retro game." I'm going to keep my definition quick and simple, but it's always going to be a little subjective depending on the person. Basically, to me a retro game is anything that came out before the "seventh generation" of console gaming. When it comes to PC gaming, the definition will be a little more hazy, so it may just come down to a gut feeling for those games.
The Think Retro ethics policy is simple. All thoughts are my own, I will disclose whether or not I paid for a product if it feels relevant to a topic, and I will do my absolute best to be as genuine as possible when presenting all forms of information, whether they are my own opinions or actual facts.
